“Q” is for Quiet Time

We need quiet time to examine our lives openly and honestly – spending quiet time alone gives your mind an opportunity to renew itself and create order. — Susan Taylor

We should all remember to take time out to care for ourselves.  We cannot care for others the way we all want if we are not up to par ourselves.

Today, I will take 20 minutes and sit outside on my back patio and listen to the birds. What will you do?

Excellent idea. Often I forget to turn off the noise and just reflect. Thanks for the reminder! Quiet time is so important. 🙂

Quiet time takes on a different meaning when you have little kids I think! But I did have some nice quiet time earlier today, while hubby played outside with our daughter. The giggles just improved things.

  3. Today, as I do every day, I will practice Reiki. In that stillness, that healing space, I find peace, comfort, quiet.

I try to take half an hour each Saturday to review the week and think about how I did and what I could do better next week. I sometimes forget but it’s certianly a help when I do it.
